Description

 

From pen to page, bring your favorite cartoon characters to life! We will learn how to draw silly, bigger than life facial expressions and capture the action as we increase drawing skills. Artists will seek to create their very own comic book!  Students will explore the history of comic book images and cartoons starting with the Japanese Ukiyo-e wood block prints. We will look at the styles created and used by Walt Disney, Fine Artists like Roy Lichtenstein, to modern comics, cartoons, anime, and manga. Taught by our resident artist.

 

 

 

Check-In: 2:30-3:30pm, Class: 3:30-5:00pm, Pick Up begins at 5:00pm and will end at 5:30pm. Extended day pick up will end at 5:45pm.
